Congress is back in session this week after its traditional August recess. I returned to Capitol Hill several times during the recess to call upon the House majority leadership to take action on the nation’s energy crisis. It’s imperative that Congress have a fair and open debate on energy policy. We need a comprehensive plan with everything on the table -- alternative and renewable energy sources, conservation and development of our own energy resources onshore and offshore. I believe there is a bipartisan consensus to get something done.Well, that's just wonderful, except for one problem: Frank Wolf has been NOWHERE on these issues over most of his career, unless you count "in opposition." That's right, as we've documented ad nauseum on this blog, Frank Wolf has consistently voted against renewable energy, energy efficiency, measures to reduce the nation's dependence on oil, etc. Now he's all about bipartisanship?!? Whatever, Frank, it's time for you to go!
The purpose of this blog is to explain why it's time to replace Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) with Democratic candidate Judy Feder. Frank Wolf has been in office a long time, and it's time for a change. Judy Feder will bring that change. Nothing against Rep. Wolf, but it's long past time to say "Farewell Frank!"
