Wolf Votes Against Credit Cardholders’ Bill of Rights Act

Ah, Frank Wolf. One thing you can always count on from him is to vote in party lockstep. Yesterday, he did so again this time against HR 5244, the "Credit Cardholders’ Bill of Rights Act of 2008." This bill would "amend the Truth in Lending Act to establish fair and transparent practices relating to the extension of credit under an open end consumer credit plan." So...Frank Wolf is AGAINST "fair and transparent practices" in lending? Or is he simply unwilling to buck the Republican Party line on anything? Either way, it's not good, which is exactly why it's time to say "Farewell Frank!" :)

Hello,

The comment about Rep. Wolf voting against HR 5244 is not accurate. According to the For The Record column in the Oct. 2, 2008 Washington POST Fairfax Extra, page 6 Rep. Wolf voted for the bill.
