Panicked Wolf campaign gives "bad information" to reporters

And now he's just outright lying:
Fact Check: Wolf Campaign Makes False Claim to Winchester Star
Wolf Campaign Misrepresents Feder Fundraising by More Than $100,000

McLean, VA— In the Monday October 20, 2008 edition of the Winchester Star [Feder, Wolf Run Neck-and-neck in Fundraising, 10/20/08] Wolf campaign manager Dan Scandling made the claim: “As of Sept. 30, had raised just $10,000 more than she had raised during her 10th District campaign in 2006”

The Facts: Judy Feder total raised as of September 30, 2008 was $1,745,085. The total raised by Judy Feder in 2006 according to the Center for Responsive Politics is $1,580,461. As of Sept. 30, 2008 Judy Feder had raised $164,624.000 more than she did during her 2006 campaign.

“It seems that over the weekend the Wolf campaign has gotten desperate. They’ve begun distorting the record and making false attacks with direct mail. Now they’re giving reporters bad information in attempt to deflect from their own fundraising problems,” said Feder campaign manager Luke McFarland. “This is exactly why the voters in this district are looking for something new, they’re tired of the same old political bickering. Judy Feder plans to spend the next 15 days meeting voters and giving them another choice in this election, the more the Wolf campaign engages in these kinds of political tactics the more clear the choice becomes for voters on Election Day: change versus more of the same.”

Taking lessons from the McCain-Palin campaign or something, Frank?
